about the founder
Jeshal Patel
Jeshal Patel is the Founding Director of Helium, a Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience across the public, private and corporate sectors.
Passionate about helping people simplify the complexities of money, Jeshal works closely with clients to create clear, future-proof plans - so they can spend more time enjoying life and less time worrying about finances. Whether you want to avoid costly mistakes, maximise opportunities, or build a multi-generational legacy, Jeshal is committed to helping you achieve your full potential.
He holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning), as well as Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Arts, and is both a Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Accountant.
Born and raised in Wellington, Jeshal now lives in Lower Hutt with his wife, Aarzu, and their two children, Kiara and Dhiyaan. Outside of work, he loves exploring the outdoors, capturing New Zealand’s landscapes through photography, spending quality time with his family, and occasionally rolling the arm over or enjoying a round of golf.
